Sagem Corporation for general electric and mechanical devices, short SAGEM, was a French company founded in 1925 and dissolved in 2005. It worked initially in the field of mechanical manufacturing equipment and machine tools. With the evolution of technology the company started to manufacture electronic devices and its two flagship products, TTY (and fax machines) and inertial navigation systems allowed it to become a major international player in the 1970s. It also develops military and aerospace applications. In 2005, it merged with the National Research Society for the Construction of Aircraft Engines, short SNECMA, to give birth to the company SAFRAN.

To optimize the operation of its business, SAGEM (I translate for them since 2001 - 2016), a specialist in the field of electronic products such as fax machines, printers, cordless phones, video projectors and military communication devices, regularly uses the services of translators and interpreters for its technical documentations and trainings on its products.
